Vrindavan the last town

To the widows is imposed the complete stripp off of all the feminility simbols: long hair, colorfull sari, the "bindi" (red dot posed on the forehead thet show a status simbol, being a merried woman) and the "mangalsutra" (juwels simbol of the wedding). A stigma that society impose on widows as a sentence without parole. Alle vedove si impone di vivere in castità e di rinunciare a tutti i simboli di femminilità: i capelli lunghi, i sari colorati, il ‘bindi’ (il segno rosso sulla fronte che indica il loro stato di donne sposate) e i ‘mangalsutra’ (i gioielli simbolo del matrimonio). Uno stigma che la società affibbia alle donne come una condanna senza appello.
